INDUSTROL PLUS S2071

The enamel has universal application for top coats on metals and wood surfaces exposed to weather conditions as well as for interior coats. It is endowed with quick drying, excellent spreading rate and high gloss. Thanks to quick drying it is suitable for industrial applications as well.

SURFACE PREPARATION

The timber surface must be clean, dry, well worn, moisture max. 12%, without rest of any resins. Concrete or masonry substrate must be dry, compact, clean, well-matured (usually 4-6 weeks) and insulated against ground (bottom) moisture. The metal substrate must be clean, dry, degreased, free of rust and dust, mechanically cleaned. Absorbent substrates must also be treated with a suitable impregnant and provided with a suitable base coat. Metal substrates must be provided with appropriate anticorrosive primer. Formerly coated surfaces must be cleaned, degreased and without old non-adhesive paints.

Thinner:  BALTECH S6001 for spraying, BALTECH S6006 for brush or roller

Spreading capacity: 14 - 16 m²/l per one layer

WORKFLOW

Properly mix before use, thin, if it is necessary. Apply by brush, roller or  spraying on prepared surface.
The coating of a metal:
1.    1x PRAGOPRIMER STANDARD S2000, FORMEX FOR GALVANIZED IRON S2003,  PRAGOPRIMER EXTRA S2035 or PRAGOPRIMER PROFI S2129; 
2.    local bonding i.e. BKP Rapid, regrind bonded area with a sandpaper;
3.    1x PRAGOPRIMER STANDARD S2000, FORMEX FOR GALVANIZED IRON S2003, PRAGOPRIMER EXTRA S2035  or PRAGOPRIMER PROFI S2129;
4.    grinding with a sandpaper No. 280-320 while wet;
5.    2 – 3x INDUSTROL PLUS S2071 enamel. Optimal thickness of a single layer is 30-35 μm.

The coating of a wood:
1.    1x impregnate with LAZUROL CLASSIC S1023 or LAZUROL FUNGICIDAL IMPREGNATION S1033, drying for 24 hours
2.    1 - 2x PRAGOPRIMER PLUS S2070 or LAZUROL OKNOBAL PRIMER S2060
3.    2 - 3x INDUSTROL PLUS S2071 enamel. Time interval between particular layers is at least 24 hours (20 °C). Optimal thickness of a single layer is 30-35 μm.
